"I used to encourage everyone I knew to make art; I don't do that so much anymore." - Banksy
When I first saw this film I like many werent expecting it to be about...what its about. I hadnt seen a trailer or read much into the film. That was for the best. This film is great. Im stoked Bottleneck commissioned me to create it. Its a step in a different zone from my usual work - but thats never a bad thing. Being able to revisit it for the first time probably since its release for this poster was awesome.
I choose to usually keep my opinions of others' work to myself. There is too much negativity these days. Circulates like dust. However this piece is my commentary on the themes of this film. Im sure it aligns with most peoples critiques. Art is about interpretation - and I don't think I left much to the imagination with this particular poster...on purpose.
